Our Chelsea Cape is back for winter 2025! Chelsea is up there with our Cardigans of our most favourite things to make and wear!
We decided to recut our favourite scalloped Chelsea Cape this season due to popular demand and we have also added an extra size with extra length for our taller cape enthusiasts!
FEATURES:
- Tie through waist which has a flowing back panel like a traditional cape
- No spinning off your shoulders or robot arms as the tie holds all your layers in order without restricting movement
- Practical full hood that covers your head and neck
- Contrast lining in the hood and fold back lapels to add some pattern to your outfits
- Cute scalloped edge that really sets this piece apart from other coats
- We love that the length of this piece hitting mid hip, which works so well with shorter or longer layers
HOW TO WEAR:
- Without a doubt this cape is the ultimate coat without being a coat! Fun and playful, but also very warm and practical.
- It is perfect with dresses and skirts as the length is just right.
- The wool blend fabrics we use are lightweight and soft, not itchy, but it is great with lots of layers underneath as it can be tied as loosely or as tightly as you want.
- Wrap the front over and double it up. It’s also sure to make an impression when layered with our printed skirts and dresses, but is just right to dress up an outfit of jeans and a cute top!
-
And cleverly if you tie the ties behind your back to create a sleeve it looks just like a little kimono jacket you can wear open! CLEVER!
