Garment Sizing

Measurements are taken across the front of the garment while laid flat. Double to find total circumference of garment and if in doubt measure a garment you own that fits well and compare. If you’ve never measured a garment or yourself before, we have a guide under “Whats my size?” above.

DESIGN FEATURES:

100% mercerised merino wool
Knitted in Sydney by Bill, one of the last machine knitters in NSW
Round neckline for easy styling and a vintage look
Yarn is hand picked, making all colours exclusive to Made590
Daisy is a semi-cropped length hits high to mid hip depending on your height
Perfect paired with higher-waisted dresses and great length for pants
Ribbed waistband is designed to hold the bottom in shape and make a lovely silhouette, but this version doesn't come in at the bottom as much as previous runs
Textured knit gives this cardigan a lovely warm look without being too bulky
Covered fabric buttons made locally
Turn under front bind (this is a new style of finish we are so happy with!) which is streamline at the front so the knit pattern goes to the edge and is reinforced at the back with merino knit binding
Basket knit for excellent texture and detail

Lovely rich olivey grass green, darker than our current cotton BFF cardigan with a brighter base than our previous Olive green. Buttons are covered locally in Liberty fabric.

fabric and care

This 100% Australian mercerised merino wool knit is knitted locally by our very special knitter who we have worked with for over 20 years! Knitting locally is something we are passionate about and also allows us to pick and choose our own colours! The mercerisation of the merino cleverly means there will be minimal pilling and that the fibres will last longer and not get fuzzy after a few wears, which is a win win for everyone!

Knit is basket pattern, a good amount of stretch in this knit.

Semi-fitted throughout, not oversized. Take your normal size in our Merino knitwear or your regular made590 dress size. Merino will also give after wearing it in, so please be aware there is a decent amount of stretch too.
