To celebrate Pride month, our newest t-shirt print pays tribute to an iconic Aussie treat: the rainbow ice-cream! We have designed this tee to be truly unisex, and suit everyone across a diverse range of sizes, genders, and ages!

Designed in-house by Kirbee and printed locally, we hope this print reminds you of all the wonderful ways you can express yourself and live colourfully, tinged with the sweet childhood nostalgia of a cold ice-cream on a hot summer’s day.

The rainbow is an iconic symbol of the LGBTQAI+ community, and symbolises pride the world over. While the rainbow was often used in flag imagery to express peace and co-operation, the pride flag as we know it now was created in 1979 by Gilbert Baker. The flag symbolises unity between people of all background coming together, and each individual stripe represents a value. They are sexuality (pink), life (red), healing (orange), sunlight (yellow), nature (green), art & magic (turquoise), harmony & peace (blue), and spirit (purple). The modern version of the flag also includes black, brown, white, pale pink, and pale blue, to symbolise the importance of inclusivity, and uplifting both people of colour and trans people.

$5 per sale of this tee will be donated directly to Black Rainbow Australia, a charity focused on the health, wellbeing and uplifting and ofAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Sistergirl and Brotherboy people.  They work across a wide range of initiatives, including grants to host Indigenous LGBTIQ+SB community events, suicide prevention, and helping LGBTIQ+SB people of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community escape homelessness, domestic violence and the justice system. We feel strongly that Black Rainbow is aligned with our core values, both as a company and as people. Our offices are located on Gadigal land, and we strive to pay the rent and respect the traditional owners of this land.

Our classic screen printed t-shirts are what started it all!  They have always been one of our most popular items and Christina hand printed this range for close to 15 years. The designs we use are mid century themed, or inspired by everyones hobbies and interests, be it music, travel or the local area around us in the Inner West of Sydney. Our classic styles make the perfect gift for anyone who likes a comfy tee with a little bit of quirk!  All our designs are done in-house, by the lovely Minnah or Kirbee with the ideas and drive the range coming from Christina.

We use As Colour tees, who’s products are produced under safe, fair, legal and humane working conditions throughout their supply chain.

The tees are a crew neck, regular fit tee that works on all body shapes. They are not too slim-fitting or loose, and they’re soft and comfy too due to the medium weight cotton used in their production! They’ve also been pre-shrunk to minimise shrinkage.

The sizing is standard, or order the size that you or your loved one wear normally.

We work with a local company, based a few streets from our shop in Marrickville who print digitally directly onto tees! This means we are able to produce small quantities of a varied size range, as well unlimited gorgeous colour and details.

AVAILABLE SIZES: 4-14, please check your measurements below to ensure the perfect fit!

MADE IN: AS Colour Tees are ethically, safely, fairly, and legally made in Bangladesh. Printed in Melbourne.
