Measurements are taken across the front of the garment while laid flat. Double to find total circumference of garment and if in doubt measure a garment you own that fits well and compare. If you’ve never measured a garment or yourself before, we have a guide under “Whats my size?” above.

Location: made590 (big pink building) 244 Victoria Road, Marrickville.

Our first ever journalling event will be a beginner-friendly workshop sharing ideas and helping if you need a bit of an intro or a place to start. If you’ve ever wished for a fun new adult hobby that appeals to the child within, Junk Journalling could be for you!

You can also come along and work on your own journal projects in a self guided way if you prefer, we highly encourage you to share your ideas with others and make some friends along the way. Part of the fun will be sharing different styles and elements of journalling without pressure to follow rules.

This is a casual sit-down class with instruction if needed. We encourage others to bring along and share their journals on the day if you already have one.

Included in this workshop will be:

Event-exclusive SPM mini welcome pack with with papers, stickers (and more) to get you started at the workshop
A lovely sit-down space with no more than 16 participants
2.5 hours to create or start on your journalling adventure

Ticket plus SPM Journalling Starter Pack will include a super-charged starter pack of everything you need to get started with junk journalling including a simple journal, glue roller, tonnes of goodies from the made590 archive like fabric scraps, trims, buttons, papers, stickers, fun things to stick into your journal and anything else we can fit into them!

This will be the perfect set of goodies to inspire you to get some things into your journal and make a start, or add to existing saved items to make a beautiful spread on the day!

When purchased with your ticket you will receive super-sized Starter Pack of goodies (because we LOVE sharing the love!), but similar packs will also be available to purchase on the day (but purchasing with your ticket will guarantee more bang for your buck).

What to bring:

All ticket holders: do bring anything you wish to include like photos, memories, scraps, junk etc you may have gathered- if you don't have any, start gathering now! "Junk" can be any found objects, paper goods or anything which can be stuck down on paper.

If purchasing a Starter Pack with your ticket: we will have your journal and materials ready for you to use on the day, but you may still wish to bring photos or other "memory bits".

If NOT purchasing a Starter Pack: please bring your own journal and materials you want to use.
