Garment Sizing

Measurements are taken across the front of the garment while laid flat. Double to find total circumference of garment and if in doubt measure a garment you own that fits well and compare. If you’ve never measured a garment or yourself before, we have a guide under “Whats my size?” above.

Bottom shape is based off our Madepant
High waisted fit
Stretch cotton for extra comfort
Sewn down front pleats
Tapered leg shape with extra room for curves at the hip and thigh
Full length to ankle grazing length depending on your height
7cm hem for extra length if needed
Patch pockets on pants and bust
XL size front pockets that are super deep and useful
Tummy hold across the pockets for a flat pleat look
Slightly longer zip in front for easy-to-get-on fit
Brass press stud front
Belt loops
Shirt fit on bodice with a yoke and pleats at the waist for extra room
Elbow length sleeve with large turn up on sleeve to cuff back easily to a t-shirt length sleeve
Inner button inside for security on waist band

97% cotton 3% stretch.

Compared to our original Madesuit these fit very similarly to our Printed versions in stretch drill (kookaburras, botanist and painted plaid). Choose the size you got in those versions or size up if you want a looser more casual fit. This fabric will soften and give with washing and wearing and come back to shape in the wash. If you own our Madepants you can wear the same size in the Madesuit.
