Available in a range of colours and sizes, and all handmade by a family company in Greece which has been in the leather business since 1947. All our belts are produced from leather that comes from the island of Crete, which is famous for it’s superior quality and they are also cut in a single piece which means the colour won’t peel or come away from the backing like cheaper belts. They also feature two belt loops, which means no more belt ends hanging off your hips, the second loop will keep the belt in place no matter your size or shape.
These belts are certainly one accessory which will last you years and we couldn’t be more excited to finally have them to offer to you.
HOW TO WEAR: Our belts have been designed to wear with pretty much all our made590 favourites. They will work with all of our skirts, even the ones without belt loops, as the raw leather back will tend to stick to fabrics like denim and cotton and stay in place. We also think they look great with our dresses as a way of defining your waist and adding a pop of colour. We are also looking forward to belting with our cardigans and coats in winter! Match them to your shoes, handbag or necklace, wear them as the one colourful accessory in a black outfit, or add some metallic to a dressy evening outfit. There are so many ways to wear these beautiful belts, the possibilities are endless! The width is also perfect on matter how wide the skirt or jeans waistline is, it’s substantial enough to make an impact but not so wide it will be uncomfortable or not fit into jeans belt loops.
SIZING: The measurements given are the actual measurement of the holes on each belt (e.g: the size small has holes at 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 inches), so please keep in mind if you want to wear it as a belt with jeans, please measure that area not your waist.
To wear as both high and low waist, select the size which will work with both measurements and keep in mind you can add at least two more holes either side of the actual measurements to make these belts bigger or smaller.
Belt width is 2.5cm on all sizes.
M: 74cm- 87cm (approximately fits 10-14) Best for made590 sizing XS-M
L: 84cm- 97cm (approximately fits 14-18) Best for made590 sizing M-XL
XL: 102cm-115cm (approximately fits 18-22) Best for made590 sizing 2X-3X
2X: 112cm-125cm (approximately fits 20-24) Best for made590 sizing 3X-4X
HOW TO MEASURE: To decide which size you need, measure the area you will be wearing your belt with a tape measure.
*Your natural waistline is located above your belly button and below your rib cage. (If you bend to the side, the crease that forms is your natural waistline.) Don't suck in your stomach, or you'll get a false measurement.
*It also doesn’t matter if you have a high or lower waistline (long torso, short torso etc) these belts will work for you at your natural waist, and will naturally want to settle there, in it’s most comfy spot.
